Frequently asked questions

I purchased Lifetime Access but the hymns are still locked.

This usually means the purchase needs to be restored on your device. To restore:

  1. Open the app and tap any locked hymn to bring up the paywall.
  2. Tap Restore Purchase at the bottom of the paywall.
  3. If prompted, sign in with the Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

If the issue persists, please email us with the email address linked to your Apple ID so we can help investigate.

Can I use my Lifetime Access on more than one device?

Yes. Your purchase covers every Apple device signed in with the same Apple ID, including iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. After installing the app on a new device, open the paywall and tap Restore Purchase.

Will the app work without an internet connection?

Yes. Once installed, every hymn is stored on your device. You can read and search the entire hymnal with no internet connection, whether during service, on long trips, or in areas with no signal.

Is Lifetime Access really a one-time payment?

Yes. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no hidden fees. You pay once and own access forever, including future hymn additions and improvements.

I found an error in a hymn. How do I report it?

We’d love to know. Please email us with:

  • The hymn number
  • The section (verse, chorus, etc.)
  • The correction you’d suggest

We review every report and push updates in regular app releases.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple, not by us. To request one:

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  3. Find your Nyimbo purchase and select Request a Refund.

Apple typically reviews refund requests within 24–48 hours.

Will you add an English translation?

English translations for many hymns are already available in the app, and we’re working to expand coverage. If there’s a specific hymn you’d like translated next, let us know.

How do I change the text size or theme?

Open the app, tap the Settings icon at the top of the home screen, and look under Appearance. You can choose between light and dark themes and adjust text size to your preference.
